  • Quality of the food is great. As is the service and the wine menu. Selection was quite strong on the hearty side. Not too many dessert options.

  • One of the best restaurants in Bochum. The beautiful and inviting interior is perfect for dining or enjoying cozy bar drinks. The wine list offers a great selection, and the service is very friendly and professional. The food was excellent, with creative and flavorful vegetarian dishes that I highly recommend!

  • Best place in the entire city for drinks. Best beer, best barkeepers and they’re honestly communicative as well. That’s what one wants in a bar. The interior is cozy and homely but at the same modern. Extraordinary selection of wines of the wine wall and the customer attention is superb. Lovely audience of locals, too. One never misses a proper chat evening. Can’t praise this place enough.

  • Easy to find. Wheelchair accessible. We made a reservation for 10 people two days before and it was no problem. Drinks was served quickly after arrival. Starters were served in a timely manner and there was a pleasant break between starter and main course. The food was great, all of the meals were tasty. I can recommend the tartar as a starter. Wine was poured by the waiter into our glasses during the meals and breaks. FYI be aware that their opening hours a bit unusual so make sure to check this. Overall highly recommended.

  • Brilliant German “Hausmannskost” such a pork knuckle, veal and Swabian dumplings aka Maultaschen. Very impressive wine list and an enthusiastic sommelier!

  • All in all a wonderful experience. German Hausmannskost with a decent modern twist. Loved the good old brown/grey bread appetizer in a paperbag. We were all very much satisfied with our meals!
